ABOUT ERIKA

I’m a violinist based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
I was born into a family of classical and jazz musicians. I began my musical studies as a Suzuki Violin student with my mother at age four. Shortly thereafter, my grandfather had me playing jazz with him. I was also fortunate to enjoy the creative outlet of dance, both ballet and modern. I believe in lifelong learning and the gift of free creative expression. To me the arts are not a luxury, but an integral part of making the world a better, kinder and more beautiful place.
